Northam Nook, Cosy Coastal Cottage by beach

Welcome to Northam Nook, my beautiful cottage set in the centre of the coastal village of Northam. A mile from Westward Ho! with sandy beach. Close to the quaint fishing village of Appledore, with it’s bustling quayside and ferry across to Instow. A 10 minute walk to the coast path. The cottage is ideal for couples, families and friends any time of the year. Northam with it’s shops, fish & chips, Chinese take away, pub and restaurant, is a great base to explore the wonderful North Devon Coast.

Located in the pretty village of Northam, Atlantic Lookout is a newly refurbished light and airy 2nd (top) floor apartment with panoramic coastal views. The popular destinations of Westward Ho! and Appledore are within 5 minutes drive. This apartment has 2 bedrooms, the master having a kingsize bed and balcony overlooking Northam village. The living room has a TV with Netflix included and there is good wi-fi throughout. There is a designated parking for 1 vehicle. The area is very peaceful.

The Hide - cosy rural cottage

The Hide is a tranquil getaway, tucked into the corner of Lemons Farm, our 15th Century thatched farmhouse. Originally a piggery, the cob and stone building has been converted into a little cottage with a living area, kitchenette, bathroom and mezzanine sleeping area. Fall asleep under the stars and wake to the sound of birdsong. Lemons Farm is located in Atherington, a lovely village with a church, tennis court and park. Some great pubs are nearby as are the gorgeous North Devon beaches.

The decor is stylish, comfortable, a beautiful haven to sit and contemplate the breathtaking surroundings from. Described by a recent guest as "The most beautiful small space they'd ever stayed in" It can be difficult to do anything here other than unwind. But if you can drag yourself away from this little gem it's a great place to explore North Cornwall's diverse delights from.

The house is situated beside the North Devon Tarka Trail and has outstanding views of The River Taw and just 5 miles from lovely Sandy Beaches. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Our Villa is not a party venue! Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Sit on the patio and watch beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic as fishing boats and yachts sail by. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore. From the inglenook fireplace to the exponses beams and arches, this cottage is full of character and history.
