The pod itself is beautifully designed in shiplap wood, the interior offers a cosy bedroom area, a kitchen with smart use of space, a living and dining area with lots of natural light from a panoramic window and a bathroom with shower. A lovely modern studio apt with a seperate entry surrounded by beautiful gardens located near Lough Ree on the River Shannon 8km from Athlone. The location is 5 minutes walk to Glasson village with it's award winning pubs and restaurants including Grogan's and The Villiger as well as The Wineport Lodge. The renowned Golf Course and Glasson Lake House Hotel on the banks of Lough Ree is just 1.5km. If boating, sailing or fishing is an attraction there are several marinas within a few mins drive.

The Cottage

Beautifully renovated Rural cottage, Located 15 minutes from Roscommon town and 20 minutes from Castlerea. This is a cosy house, fully insulated, with central heating complemented by a solid fuel stove, with kindling, turf and firewood provided for your convenience to provide cosy evenings as the night draws to a close and you unwind for the evening. Ideally located for fishing- river Suck 10minutes away and facilities on site for preparation including locked shed.

The apartment is very peaceful,calm and private and is the perfect base for a relaxing getaway or a longer stay to enjoy Athlone and the Hidden Heartlands. Easy to reach the Wild Atlantic Way, Connemara, Cliffs of Moher, Burren and midway between Galway and Dublin Large garden and stream with country lanes to explore, encounter local wildlife and enjoy the sunsets. Bright apartment and sunroom, attached to the main house but with own private entrance and facilities.

Family home in the heart of Roscommon town convenient for all local attractions. Hanons hotel is round the corner for meals/drinks. Roscommon town is an easy walk of 1.5k. Roscommon Community Hospital is directly opposite the property. Toys and swings are available for children to play with and a sheltered shed with a climbing wall in case of rain. The house has a heat recovery ventilation system, solar panels, solar heated hot water and Electric Vehicle Charger.
