Sherrington Stables is on the edge of the enchanting hamlet of Sherrington with its picturesque watercress beds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a delightful, well equipped, single storey cottage which makes a charming and relaxing retreat. There is one bedroom with a queen size (5 foot) bed and the living room has an imported American (Castro Convertibles) queen size sofa bed. Ideally suited for a couple, or a couple with two children, or two couples as long as one couple are happy with the sofa bed. Peacefully set in the grounds of the owner's three hundred year old thatched farmhouse, it has wonderful walks right from the door.

The house is in a tranquil 4 acre plot with lovely views from your personal raised sundeck. All within walking distance from Tisbury village and train station.

Little Coombe

Little Coombe welcomes all couples, lone travellers and fellow pooches. Little Coombe is a totally self-contained cottage attached to the main cottage, where the owner lives. It is a tranquil stone cottage sitting by the brook in a small hamlet near Shaftesbury. The cottage was formerly two thatched farm cottages and where our family has lived for nearly 100 years! We live next door in the main cottage, but guests will have their own entrance and garden space and their privacy is guaranteed.

The Granary

The Granary is a self contained, detached, single room studio set beside Ansty Brook in the Nadder Valley, deep in the heart of SW Wiltshire. A fully equipped kitchen gives the flexibility to self cater or enjoy the best local country pubs. Carefully curated to provide simple and comfortable accommodation. Enjoy the local paths, galleries, historic houses and monuments. The stream and valley can be enjoyed from the seating in the small orchard opposite. Local breakfast eggs laid next door!

It is a private part of Foxholes House which dates back to the early 1700s and was once part of the Longleat Estate (The Marquess of Baths’ crest remains on the wall in the main part of the house). And relax…! Enjoy a break and unwind in our peaceful garden room. Or, if you would rather be active, head out by foot or by bike to explore the forest. Stourhead NT house and gardens are within walking distance with its cafes, gallery and farm shop. There are 3 country pubs within 1.5 miles which all do meals. Stonehenge, Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, Frome, Bath and Sherborne are all great trips out. Dogs welcome.
