It's a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the interstate, parks, trails, and our vibrant downtown with cafés, shops, and great restaurants. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. Come stay in our recently updated 1800's farmhouse. Situated on 3 acres in a rural setting, this home is the perfect escape while still being centrally located among area attractions. Just 5 miles from the Mississippi, a state park and bike trail, a winery and an orchard, there is an abundance of nearby entertainment throughout the seasons. It is conveniently located between LaCrosse, WI and Winona, MN. WiFi and Roku available. There is ample off-street parking with space for trucks/trailers.

Nestled in the bluffs of Winona, Minnesota, The Driftless Retreat is a cottage in the valley just one mile from Saint Mary's University and a 10 minute drive to downtown Winona and the Mississippi River. My place is 10 minutes from downtown La Crosse, close to the airport, but you'll feel a world away. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet, but mostly THE VIEWS. All the modern conveniences of dishwasher, microwave, shower and stove/fridge, washer & dryer. You'll never see the same sunset! My place is good for two people or a solo adventurer.Full list of amenities available, but worth noting here that coffee isn't provided. There is a drip coffee maker, also kpods use.

Amenities and activities include: a walking trail, bike trail, cows in pasture, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, grills outside (there is no cooking in the cabins), Air Conditioning, Heat and firewood is supplied. Nearby activities include: canoeing, fishing, 4 wheeling, antiquing, and superb scenic sites. Pet Policy: Pets may stay with you for an extra $25 per pet/night.
