The Goose Barn - Ideal getaway near Cambridge!

This is a lovely converted barn which we spent many years in and now have outgrown. The barn has one living & dining area, kitchen, hallway, one bathroom and 2 bedrooms. There is a small courtyard to enjoy sitting outside in the summer. We’re extremely close to Cambridge - you can cycle into the centre of town within 25 minutes along a path next to the river Cam. *We will potentially supply a couple of push bikes, if this is something you’re interested in please notify me in advance.

Our converted barn is in a peaceful location and beautiful setting. In close proximity to a stunning local nature reserve and a short drive from historic Bury St Edmunds and Lavenham. The station in the local village of Thurston offers regular services to Cambridge and Norwich. The area has plenty of country walks,great pubs and restaurants, and the Suffolk coast is within an hours drive.

I'm about a mile from the train station, 10 minutes walk from the City Centre and 20 minutes walk from the leisure park with cinema and restaurants. My house is child friendly and a great base to explore Ely, Cambridge or even London
