Note: the TV is an Apple TV to be used with your subscriptions. The studio is the entire bottom floor of a 3 story house. It has its own separate access through the garden and is completely private from the rest of the house. A bathroom, kitchenette, dining/study area are included within your studio space. Laundry and Apple TV available upon request. Garden space and access is shared. Enjoy the deck and outdoor dining and lounging facilities as well as a gorgeous sunset view of LA. Bordering the neighborhoods of Eagle Rock and Highland Park, the area has an understated charm and offers an array of vibrant restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Old Town Pasadena, a retail hub with charming eateries, is a short drive away. It is a 0.4 mile distance to the nearest bus stop on La Loma and Figueroa. (about a 10 minute walk from the apartment) The 81 Bus can take you to the Gold Line Metro in Highland Park in less than 15 min. The Gold Line runs between Pasadena and Downtown, where you can transfer to other trains. Please let us know if you would like an Apple TV set up for your arrival or at any point during your stay.

Eagle Rock Hilltop Retreat - Amazing Downtown View

The house has expansive views of downtown, Silver lake and highland park from the hills of Eagle Rock. The neighborhood, located very close to Occidental College, has a friendly community vibe to it, with shops and restaurants just down the hill. We are 10 minutes from Dodger Stadium and can actually see fireworks performances after games. And just a 10 minutes drive from the Rose Bowl. The patio is wonderful for meals or just relaxing. The house is very comfortable and great for lounging.

Your space is in the lower half of a historic, Spanish style home in the neighborhood of Eagle Rock. Originally a speakeasy in the 1930’s, we’ve maintained its character while at the same time converting the bar area into a convenient kitchenette and adding a new modern bathroom. The yard is very lush with native oaks and flowers and there is a designated area for guests. We are located 2 blocks from the main boulevard which has many shops and restaurants. Just leave the car and walk to dinner.
