Homebush Cottage is part of the 120 yr. old former Homebush School, located on the Southern Scenic Route and close to popular Skifields, Lakes and amazing tourist destinations, thus making us the perfect stopover. The cottage is set on 3 acres including beautiful rambling gardens and tennis court. The accommodation is decorated in a comfortable cottage style suitable for a couple. We provide a self catering breakfast including free range eggs from Brown Shavers so no need to worry about food !!

A private garden is also part of the quiet countryside accommodation.

My place is close to great views of the Southern Alps and away from the hustle and bustle of city living. It is a peaceful country escape. 10 mins to Darfield & 20 mins to Rolleston, and 30 mins to Christchurch or Christchurch airport. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). We are only a few minutes away from the hot air ballooning and an hour from the ski fields. The nearest golf course is only 5 mins down the road with several others available in the Selwyn district.

Rose Cottage Pretty Country Retreat

Pretty country cottage. 25 mins drive from airport & 40 mins drive to Christchurch CBD. Ideal stopover for West Coast & Central Otago. Country pub/restaurant is just up the road plus numerous cafes, restaurants &vineyards in the adjacent villages of Darfield & West Melton (10 mins drive) and Rolleston (15 mins).
