The loft is a spacious design that provides all the comforts of home for up to four travelers looking for an extraordinary stay. It is located on the square in downtown Demorest, a short walk from two restaurants, a boutique coffee shop, and Piedmont University. Our once storefronts have been converted into lodging that perfectly complements the charm of the downtown square.

One Bedroom (Queen bed), Bath, Study, small but complete Kitchen, Downstairs sofa sleeper (please let us know in advance if you wish to use the sleeper couch), Dining area, and you get the entire 740 square foot tiny farmhouse on two acres to yourself. Front porch, back deck, balcony, living area, reading room. Convenient to the highway, Piedmont University, downtown Demorest and Habersham Airport (KAJR). The interior has been fully remodeled. The outside retains the 1897 charm and space.

Excellent location for visiting Piedmont University. See the Soccer/Lacrosse field from the front yard and walk to campus. Great for attending games/visiting your student. A central location to visit Tallulah Gorge, Lake Burton, Helen, Cleveland, Wineries, Waterfall hikes, and the AT. It's located in a peaceful quiet neighborhood, and has a large level private backyard, which is great for grilling, dining outside, relaxing/chilling by the fire pit.

*This apartment has the same square footage as our home upstairs. We have had as many as 16 people stay there overnight. * We are 3 hour drive from Gatlinberg, less than 15 miles from Toccoa Falls, Piedmont, North GA tech, and Truitt McCollege Colleges. * We are 40 miles from the Appalachian trail, and 20 miles from Helen, GA. Very quiet and restful. 100 miles from ATL and/or Greenville-Spartanburg Airports.
