Smiðjan, the little old house by the sea

'Smiðjan' the Smithy has been lovingly restored focusing on original aesthetics and comfort. It is situated at the edge of a small industrial area where you can enjoy absolute privacy and not worry about neighbours. The large attic windows provide a perfect platform to view the northern lights and stunning views. Smiðjan is almost a 100 year old house on the shores of the little fishing village Dalvík in the north, with views of spectacular mountains and valleys where hiking is at your doorstep

Sela Retreat - The Old Stables

Selá has six double rooms and two shared bathrooms and two shared kitchens with other guests in the old renovated stables. If we are heavily booked guests share owners kitchen. We can house up to 12 persons plus 6 on the ground floor in the old house. Additionally we have a queen size bed upon the loft in the barn Selá overlooks the village of Hauganes, to Dalvík is 12 km and to Akureyri 32 km. The environment is magical and pure characteristic of the best of Iceland both nature and people.

In 5min walking is a swimming pool and the harbor with lovely panorama. 50m away is Hvanndalir Lodge which offers great menues and delicious cocktails. Close to the best surf spot in Iceland and the Skiing resorts. Ólafsfjörður has one of the most beautiful cross-ski areas in Iceland. In summer the surrounding area offers hiking and biking around the beautiful mountain range.

Ytri Vík cottages are located by the Troll peninsula The location and its views are breathtaking and perfect for mountain skiers during the winter time, and for couples or bigger groups all year around. Would you like to relax in the hot tub, listen to the wild bird life and see the whales jumping around just a few meters from the shore in the summer time or enjoy the northern lights while you soak in during other months of the year. Chances that you experience all this are great.

New cosy and stylish apartment in Hauganes

Brand new 76 fm apartment in a small sea village north in Iceland name Hauganes,25 minutes drive from Akureyri. It has 3 bedrooms, dining area and living room in an open space, fully equipped kitchen,bathroom with a shower, washer and a dryer. There is a small patio in the backyard and good space in the front with garden furniture. Space for 5 to 6 people to stay. Dalvík is about 10 min drive from Hauganes and there is a grocery store. There is no grocery store in Hauganes.

Cozy home -House in the Village

Recently renovated house on the oldest street in the village. Located right next to the church and just steps away from Café Klara and the best pizzas in the country you get on the street corner at Höllin restaurant. The grocery store is just a two minute walk from the house and between the store and my house is a very pleasant museum, called Paul's House really interesting to see and they have a full size Polar bear there.
