Pristine Lake Location in Vermont

Our cottage is located on Lake Memphremagog, an international lake shared with Canada. Visit our nearby hobby farm/children’s museum. Kayak, bike or hike to stunning natural settings or take day trips to a variety of interesting destinations, including maple sugar shops, alpaca or dairy farms, golf courses, a ski resort with indoor waterpark; or cross the Canadian border a few miles away and explore Quebec. A boat dock is available for use at our cottage with an access ramp a 1/4 mile away.

The House of the Setting Sun, Private Apartment

The House of the Setting Sun is a great place to rest, relax & re-energize. Located in a family friendly neighborhood, while still within walking distance to restaurants & close to downtown Newport. The apt has its own dedicated WiFi, easy for working remotely. Downstairs is a room with a ping pong/pool table. You will have your own deck, where you can sit & enjoy a cup of coffee to begin your day or unwind with a glass of wine as the sun sets. Hosts on site and ready to assist if needed.

This cozy little house is a step out of town and offers all the conveniences you will need! While still close enough to Jay Peak, Lake Memphremagog is right out your window! The Newport Country Club, Gardner Park (playground, basketball court, ball fields, fishing and ice skating), grocery store, movie theater, restaurants, shops, a lovely boardwalk and bike path are all within less than a mile. The loft upstairs has an open floor plan with a comfortable living space, bathroom and platform bed, where you can view Jay Peak conditions. We now have Starlink high speed internet. There are 8 private acres half woods half open meadow feel free to walk around the property and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature.

Sugar Hill

Come and embrace the majestic beauty of Vermont from Sugar Hill, a quaint log cabin nestled on 24 acres of beautiful countryside. Enjoy the views of the Canadian mountains from the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; or wander around the pasture or woods behind the cabin. Close to both Jay Peak and downtown Newport, you can enjoy all those locations have to offer, or simply relax. Please note that the stairs to the 2nd floor are steeper than usual.
