There is NO Kitchen provided in the unit and there is no guest access to the swimming pool. We have a friendly golden retriever named 'Goldie.' You have your own entrance and privacy, a spa to soak in and your own courtyard to watch the sunset. Comes with a friendly dog too! A 2 minute walk to watch the sunrise on the beach or the same to watch the sunset over Christchurch. Markets , hot pools, supermarket and shops 15 min walk. Bus stop to city also close. Perfect!

Avonview Cottage

Avonview Cottage is a cosy place, warm in winter and cool in summer (with heatpump and HRV). There is a full kitchen, with large fridge/freezer, microwave, ceramic cooktop (4 burners) and an oven. The bathroom has a nice hot shower and a small vanity. There’s also a front loading washing machine for you to use. The Avon River is very close by and the area is very quiet. A New World supermarket is only a 10 minute walk away and there are lots of other shops and restaurants around.

Perfect for recovering from a long flight. 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes to the central city Plenty of off street parking and an excellent bus service to the central city. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk. Please be aware that the kitchen & dining area are in the main house and are shared with the hosts. You are very welcome to use both areas. Airport transfers are $15 each way.
