Step back in time with this original 1890s Appalachian solar powered off grid cabin. The cabin has been renovated with all the modern conveniences: solar-powered and includes hot water, gas stove, full bathroom w/ shower, refrigerator, sleeper sofa folds out to queen size bed. With each stay fresh towels and linens are furnished. Kitchen, hot/cold kitchen sink, K cup friendly coffee machine and more! Covered front porch with bench and 2 rockers. Rudy’s Roost, Rental Cabin near Back of the Dragon

Quiet but located on a working farm with chickens, cows and fruit trees. You may see us tending to the farm or animals.. please remember that emergencies do happen, and sometimes you’ll see us multiple times a day and sometimes not at all! We live on the property so if you’re looking for something stand alone, and secluded where you won’t see anyone this isn’t the place for you, we do try to give you as much space as farm life allows. Please park on the gravels only and not the grass.
