The Cottage has great light throughout the day, a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, coffee grinder, coffee maker, large fridge, etc.), a full bathroom (with shower), a sleeping area with a comfortable queen-sized bed, dedicated (free) wi-fi, a smart TV, blue tooth sound system, and an eclectic library. We have a new larger tent for 2026! Queen size bed. We have also added a sauna to our retreat. Rest and recharge at this beautifully landscaped glamping retreat. Enjoy quiet moments of zen in the meditation garden, awake to the birds and butterflies, float the afternoon away in the pool or enjoy stargazing in the hot tub at night. We are set up for a quiet retreat for 2 people. Additional guests must be approved in advance. No parties!

The Red Barn

The Red Barn is located in a very rural setting about 10 miles from Gettysburg. The Red Barn is approximately 1/2 mile off the main road and within a stone's throw of the Mason Dixon Line. If you are looking for a quiet space with not super internet this is the place. Plenty of books to read, miniature donkeys to watch playing with their border collie pal and on a clear night - see some awesome stars!

We are located about a 5-minute walk from Downtown Sykesville. Main Street is host to restaurants, shopping, craft cocktails, and amazing hiking/mountain biking trails. This is a perfect home for a weekend getaway, a wedding in the area, or as a business traveler. The entire house can sleep 4 comfortably and is a perfect alternative to staying in a hotel in Owings Mills, Westminster, or Turf Valley.
