The Nest

The Nest is an upstairs mini apartment in a building on a working bison ranch. The decor is birds, flowers, nature. The windows look out over the pastures. The bathroom features a shower and small clothes washer. The kitchenette area includes hot drink dispenser, microwave, toaster oven, and mini fridge. A cot and portable crib are available on request. Breakfast snacks and coffee are included in the room rate. Covid concerns: you will be the only occupants in the building overnight.

Outdoor enthusiasts, friends, and families, we invite you to enjoy your next Sandhills trip with a stay at the Cedar Creek Cabin. Our two bedroom, one bath, cabin sleeps eight. Located on a large lot to accommodate outdoor activities, including a fire pit. The park, Nebraska's Big Rodeo, and the town square (where there several dining options) are all within walking distance. The area's main attraction Calamus Reservoir is a short 7 mile drive, offering fun for the entire family.

Our cabins are nestled along the North Loup River and just minutes from the Calamus Reservoir. A large pond with excellent fishing is just a stone’s throw from the cabin porches. Beautiful views of the sandhills and Middle Loup river going thru the property, with a small catch & release fishing pond on property. The Little House on the Prairie is nestled in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills.
