The Barn - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Barn provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Barn is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Stables. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to skiing and snow boarding at Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, a short 45 minute drive away. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Set on two hectares of steep landscaped grounds, the unique site will take your breath away with its native plantings, visiting kangaroos, native birds, and private outdoor dining space.

Enjoy a relaxing weekend get away where you can take in the fresh air and spectactular alpine views. Whether it's summer, autumn, winter or spring there is plenty to do- walks, hikes, mountain bike riding, horse riding, river swimming, rafting, skiing, snowboarding and taboggining. There are some excellent wineries in the surrounding areas to visit. Mount Beauty township is a short 2km walk or bike ride away.

Nestled on a hillside with uninterrupted sweeping views over the tree tops, the babbling water up and down the entire majestic valley. This home offers a true retreat style experience for those seeking solitude, rejuvenation and reconnection. Diggings Walk and Mystic mountain bike trail head a 5 min ride. Pebblebank also offers small weddings and elopement.
