Welcome to Heron House! Peace and comfort await you at this fully remodeled, ocean-view oasis, nestled along the California coast in the quiet community of Bodega Bay. Sip your morning coffee looking out at the ocean, as the fog lifts and deer graze on neighboring hillsides. Take a stroll on the beach, and enjoy world-class attractions and stunning natural scenery in all directions. After a day of exploration, sip wine beside the fire pit at sunset, and fall asleep to the sound of the sea.

The Beach House

This stunning house sits on a bluff directly above the ocean. Sit in the living room with a 180 degree view of the ocean, hear the waves as they roll in, watch birds of prey land on a cypress tree, and deer, foxes and other wildlife forage on the hill. Occasionally, see a whale or dolphin swimming off shore. At dusk, watch the sun set as you make dinner in the fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances. Later watch the moon and stars come out as you relax to the sound of the waves.

Thirty feet above the forest floor you are nestled in a gorgeous, well-appointed suite of 1,000 year old polished redwood, with bathroom and amazing copper/glass forest-view shower. Our custom-designed beachhouse is perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and offers spectacular panoramic views from every room. It's a perfect retreat from everyday life. Relax in one of two living areas or on one of the decks, and toast the sunset with local wines. Walk along sandy Dillon Beach, hike to the estero, fish from the many coves, kayak, surf, paddleboard or kiteboard at the beach, eat oysters from the pristine Tomales Bay, or curl up with a book on the couch.
