Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

We are nestled in the woods within a stone's throw of the stunning White Salmon River. Our cabin dates to the 1920s (one of the oldest in the area but we recently updated it). 4 people max. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full size bed are available). A couple with one or two kids works okay too. What doesn’t work great are 4 adults who sleep separately since that means using the pull out couches downstairs. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.

Quiet home located 1 mile outside of all that White Salmon has to offer, and just across the river from Hood River. This 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom home in a nice neighborhood is the perfect hideaway for a group or a family exploring the Gorge or visiting family. The deck off the back is great for grilling and just enjoying the night sky. Tons of wineries and wind sports within minutes. This is one of the few houses in the Gorge that is pet friendly.

The Woodlands House

The Woodlands House sits on five acres of an old growth private forest. The home itself is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with two outdoor decks surrounded by towering pine trees. It's the perfect place to get out of the city and disconnect in nature, or to use as your base for all the PNW adventures. It's a quick 30 min drive to Mount hood or the entrance to the Colombia Gorge, and only 45 min from PDX Airport.
