Suíomh iontach
Thug 100% de na h-aíonna a bhí ann le gairid rátáil 5 réalta don suíomh.
The Burrows is an 1860's stone cottage that has been sensitively restored to open up the house to expansive views over Freycinet peninsula.
A large living space is the heart of the home with a wood fire at one end, feather sofa and armchairs and a custom made window seat overlooking Great Oyster Bay.
Both bedrooms have views over the water and an intimate bath house with clawfoot bath & french doors is the perfect place to watch the sunset reflected over the Hazards.

An spás
A relaxed coastal retreat, within the rugged landscape of the East coast. Our home has been styled with an eclectic collection of treasures, vintage furniture, beautiful books and luxurious Belgian + French linens, a perfect couples escape. Due to the nature of our property, unfortunately it is not suitable for children, please contact us directly if you wish to discuss.

The Burrows is both secluded and private, set on 2.5 acres with uninterrupted views from Dolphin Sands, The Hazards, Freycinet and Schouten Island, an incredible view from every window.

Gatherings or parties of any kind are restricted unless agreed to by prior arrangement with us, including elopements or intimate weddings.
Pets are not permitted at The Burrows under any circumstances. Our furniture, linen and soft furnishings are to be enjoyed inside and are not to be taken outside.

Other things to note:
Breakfast provisions for your first day of sourdough bread, butter, free range eggs, homemade jam, milk, T2 tea, ground coffee, sugar, Tasmanian sea salt, pepper, olive oil.

Cá mbeidh tú

Swansea, Tasmania, an Astráil

Gala Estate cellar door is just north of Swansea and offers tastings of some of the best wines in Tasmania, we are very partial to their vintage sparkling Rosé and they are warm and friendly folk.
A little further up the road is Melshell Oysters where at specific times of the year you can buy freshly shucked oysters straight from the lease.
Swansea is the home of Tasmania's incredible Splendid Gin which you can purchase directly from their cellar door at Springvale Road in Cranbrook.
Artifakt Cafe in Swansea serves amazing coffee and their hot chips cooked to order are the best in town!
We LOVE Little Bay Patisseries in Bicheno, their coffee is excellent and pastries and baguettes are sublime. The Gulch in Bicheno does amazingly fresh fish and chips as does The Lobster Shack.
Coastal Wholefoods in Franklin Street is a wholefoods grocer, deli and cafe that stock a great range of Tasmanian products.
Tellers Wine Bar is a great spot for a glass and wine and a shared produce platter in the courtyard.
Homestead Restaurant at Piermont Retreat is only a few minutes drive from the Burrows and definitely worth trying to get in. They give first preference to Piermont guests and only accommodate 40 diners so booking is essential and sadly not always open to the public. Sean Keating the executive chef is our good friend and his food and use of locally sourced seasonal produce is next level!
Take your pick of a number of local beaches, Spiky Beach is a small sheltered beach perfect for a swim or searching for cats eye and cowrie shells within the rock pools. Kelvedon beach is a little further south and offers a 4km return walk along the beach with an historic boat shed at the southern end.
Kates Berry farm is a few minutes walk up our road, serving great locally made ice cream.
