The private XVI century house is located in the village center. After few (!) steps you can appreciate the stunning view of the village and the sea from the roof terrace on the 3rd floor of the house (no elevator available).

We had a great time in Luca’s class! He is funny and friendly and gives a detailed history of pesto which makes preparing the dish all the more special. Plus the view from his apartment over Riomaggiore is amazing! Highly recommend.

Loved this experience! I learned a lot and made delicious pesto, what could be better? A great addition to my time in Cinque Terre and Luca was a great host. Definitely recommend!

Lots of fun! We got to make our own pesto the old fashioned way (mortar and pestle) and then eat our pesto over pasta !

Luca and his pesto course were one of the highlights of our trip. He is a great storyteller, and did not only teach us to make amazing pesto but also told us its origins and how we can make it at home. After, he served us the pesto we made, with pasta that we never heard about before, it was so delicious!! We left the course feeling we knew exactly how to remake this at home. And that we would definitely want to take another course with Luca next time we visit Cinque Terre. Luca you made our day!!!

We had a blast making pesto with Luca today! He explained the history of pesto and tiramisu (which came up in conversation). After we made the pesto, he served it with testaroli (delicious pasta we didn’t even know existed)! It was a really great experience.

Such a quality experience! The pesto was so delicious I will dream about it! Luca was great & had so many interesting facts about the history of pesto, definitely one of my favorite experiences in Cinque Terre.
