I’ll take you on hidden paths beyond the unforgettable views and give you a visceral sense of the life of the volcano. • I’ll welcome you at Rifugio Citelli and equip you with headlam, jacket, helmet, stickers and all necessary gear. Throughout our journey, I’ll share Etna stories and insights. • We hike through serene undergrowth to the northern edge of the Bove Valley, where we will stop to admire extinct craters and recent lava fields. The first light of dawn will reveal a unique landscape between the summit craters and the Ionian coast of Sicily. • Depending on the conditions of the volcano, we will explore a lava flow cave at night, the southernmost beech forest in Europe, and the relationship between higher altitude human settlements and a hostile, dynamic landscape. This 2,150-meter-tall extinct lateral crater is believed to have formed more than 3,500 years ago. • As the sun sets, enjoy panoramic views of the reddish rock and the east coast of Sicily and warm up with a hot drink before trekking back along two recent lava flows—a sign of the volcano’s dramatic power and energy. The Lemon Tour consists of the visit to our farm with practical examples of growing, harvesting and it’s also possible to see our workers in action in the gardens. Then there will be a break in our outdoor place among the lemons where you can taste lemon cake, fresh lemonade and limoncello. After there will be a visit to the family’s Museum of Arts and Crafts, and to the factory where you can see how to make limoncello. In the factory it’s possible to buy our limoncello, products and fresh lemons with the possibility of sending them. Our farm is certified organic and produces the Amalfi Coast Lemons PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), and our Tour is aimed at an audience that understands and appreciates the educational and emotional trip. While travelling to these places via boat you will have chance to enjoy sigtseeing the city of Budva, coastline, nature and old town. We will make a stop on the island which is 20 minutes travelling from Budva and there you will be provided with snorkeling equipment to help you see better the underwater life. Later on we continue to another beach which is located 30 minutes from the island, the beach has a beautiful enviroment and cristaly clear water where you can take a swim again. While travelling I will tell you some historical backround of the place and provide you with some drinks if you are up for it. After the experience you will have a different view on the city of Budva (coming from local), you will be happy that you visited places not so many tourists know about, you will gain knowledge of simple way of snorkeling, going underwater and guranteed good time.
